On 23 April 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, together with Colonel Nikom Tongkinkaew, Army Attaché, were invited to the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration 2024, organised by the Ministry of Defence of Malaysia at Dewan Seroja in Kuala Lumpur. The event was well-attended by foreign diplomatic missions and military missions in Malaysia.

 

This occasion provided an opportunity for the Ambassador to meet with YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Defence of Malaysia and YB Adly bin Zahari, Deputy Minister of Defence of Malaysia, respectively, in a warm and cordial atmosphere. The event has strengthened Thailand-Malaysia relations as neighboring countries which share extensive land and maritime borders. The two countries also shared frequent exchanges of high-level visits, as well as close and comprehensive military cooperation.
