On Thursday evening of 16 April 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, joined BNO’s Ambassadors’ Roundtable dinner to exchange views with YM Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul, Malaysia’s former Minister of Finance and former Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, who currently serves as Senior Political Advisor to the Prime Minister and Chairman of MIDA, hosted by H.E. B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, at the Indian House.
The night’s topic of interest was “Geoeconomics and Its Implications for Malaysia and the Region”. It was well attended by H.E. Dato’ Vanu Gopala Menon, High Commissioner of Singapore and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Malaysia, and many foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners across the globe, as well as members of the BNO group, led by the Secretary General Dato’ Robert Teo.
