เมื่อวันที่ ๙ เมษายน ๒๕๕๗ นายกฤต ไกรจิตติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดสหกรณ์ของสมาคมผู้ประกอบกิจการร้านอาหารไทยในประเทศมาเลเซีย หรือสมาคมต้มยำไทยคลับเดิม ซึ่งจัดตั้งขึ้นเพื่อเป็นศูนย์กลางในการสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการร้านอาหารต้มยำไทยในมาเลเซียในด้านการเงินและสินเชื่อ โดยมีนายวันมูหะมัดนอร์ มะทา อดีตประธานรัฐสภา พร้อมด้วยรองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดยะลา ลำพูน และลำปาง รวมถึงข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่ และตัวแทนผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจฮาลาลในกลุ่มจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้และกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบน โดยในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตได้แสดงความยินดีแก่สมาคมสำหรับความสำเร็จในครั้งนี้ และหวังว่าสหกรณ์ฯ จะเป็นองค์กรที่สำคัญในการสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการร้านอาหารไทยในมาเลเซียให้สามารถพัฒนาศักยภาพให้มีความแข็งแกร่งมากขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมอาหารไทยและสนับสนุนนโยบายครัวไทยสู่ครัวโลกต่อไป

 

On 9 April 2014, H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, presided the opening ceremony of the Cooperative of the Association of Thai Food Entrepreneurs in Malaysia (formerly known as "Tom Yum Thai Club." The event was also attended by H.E. Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, former President of the National Assembly of Thailand, along with high-level officials as well as business representatives from Southern Border Provinces and 4 Northernmost Provinces of Thailand. On this occasion, H.E. the Ambassador congratulated the Association for this milestone achievement, and expressed his hope that the Cooperative will help Thai entrepreneurs in Malaysia to promote the excellence of Thai food to the World.
