เมื่อวันที่ ๑๘-๒๑ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๗ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ นำโดยนางสาวเสาวลักษณ์ ชัยชูสอน อัครราชทูตและอุปทูตรักษาราชการฯ ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะนักฟุตลอบทีมชาติไทยที่เดินทางมาแข่งขันฟุตบอลชิงชนะเลิศแห่งอาเซียน "เอเอฟเอฟซูซูกิคัพ" ที่สนามกีฬาแห่งชาติบูกิตจาลิล กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ โดยนอกเหนือจากการให้กำลังใจร่วมกับแฟนฟุตบอลชาวไทยที่ขอบสนามแล้ว สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้อำนวยความสะดวกเรื่องพิธีการที่ท่าอากาศยานและรวมถึงเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำเพื่อแสดงความยินดีแก่นักฟุตบอลและทีมงานทุกคนด้วย

 

On 18-21 December 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy, led by Miss Saowalak Chaichuson, Minister and Charge d'affaires a.i., welcomed the Thai National Football Team, who visited Malaysia to compete in the second-leg match of the Final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 at Stadium Bukit Jalil. Apart from watching the match together with Thai football fans at the stadium, members of the Embassy also helped facilitate their arrival at the airport and hosted a celebratory dinner for the team.
