เมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ เมษายน ๒๕๕๘ นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงต้อนรับโดยผู้แทนชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายสยามที่วัดพุทชยันตี เขตปูดู กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ โดยภายหลังการกราบนมัสการพระครูพุทธชโยดม เจ้าอาวาสวัดพุทธชยันตี เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ร่วมกล่าวปราศรัยกับนายโอสถ ประยูร นายกสมาคมสยามมาเลเซียและนายพิน อุตราพัน นายกสมาคมสยามรัฐกลันตัน โดยภายหลังการปราศรัย เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ร่วมเปิดตัวหนังสือและแนะนำ "คู่มือมนุษย์" โดยพระพุทธทาสภิกขุ ฉบับแปลภาษามาเลเซียแก่ผู้มาร่วมงาน เยี่ยมชมโรงเรียนพระพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์และโรงเรียนสอนภาษาไทยวัดพุทธชยันตี และร่วมรับประทานอาหารกับผู้แทนชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายสยามที่มาร่วมงาน

 

On 19 April 2015, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, participated in a welcoming ceremony organized by representatives of the Siamese people (Orang Siam) in Malaysia at Wat Buddha Jayanti, Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. After greeting Phra Khru Buddha Jayodom, Chief Abbot of the Temple, His Excellency delivered a speech to the participants alongside the President of Malaysia Siamese Association and Kelantan Siamese Assocition. Besides, H.E. the Ambassador also officiated the introductory ceremony of the Bahasa Malaysia translation of "Human Manual" by Buddhadhasa Bhikkhu, visited the Thai language school at Wat Buddha Jayanti, and joined a luncheon hosted by the representatives of the Malaysian Siamese.
