เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๘ นายปิยภักดิ์ ศรีเจริญ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เข้าร่วมในพิธีปิดกิจกรรมค่ายฝึกอบรมภาษาอังกฤษและการพัฒนาตนเอง ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยมหาวิทยาลัยอิสลามนานาชาติมาเลเซียสำหรับนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ตามความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยทั้งสอง โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปิดโลกทัศน์และสร้างความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับความสำคัญของการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับนักศึกษาไทย ในโอกาสดังกล่าว อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษาฯ ได้กล่าวขอบคุณผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์ของมหาวิทยาลัยทั้งสองสำหรับความร่วมมือเพื่อจัดกิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์สำหรับนักศึกษา รวมถึงได้ให้โอวาทแก่นักศึกษาไทยและร่วมชมการแสดงของนักศึกษาในช่วงพิธีปิดด้วย

 

On 26 June 2015, Mr. Piyapak Sricharoen, Minister-Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, attended the closing ceremony of  the IIUM-PNU Self-Development Programme and Ingenious Camp, organized by International Islamic University Malaysia for students of Prince of Naradhiwas University as one of their collaboration programmes, to create awareness of PNU students regarding the fast pace of economic development, globalization and regionalization, as well as the importance of English in today's world. Apart from thanking the executives and lecturers of the two universities, Mr. Piyapak also gave his words of advice for the Thai students and joined them for the Iftar dinner.
