เมื่อวันที่ 10 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เข้าพบหารือกับดาโต๊ะ ซรี มุสตาปา โมฮาเม็ด รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการค้าระหว่างประเทศและอุตสาหกรรมมาเลเซีย เพื่อหารือโดยได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแผนการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างสองประเทศที่กรุงเทพฯ ในช่วงต้นเดือนมีนาคม 2559 การขยายโอกาสความร่วมมือด้านฮาลาลระหว่างไทยกับมาเลเซีย รวมถึงการแก้ไขปัญหาและการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในพื้นที่ชายแดน

 

On 10 February 2016, HE Mr Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, had a meeting with YB Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry, to discuss various topics of mutual interests such as MITI's plan relating to the promotion of mutual trade and investement, cooperation in Halal, and promotion of economic activities in the border areas.
