On 30 October 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia was invited to attend the 7th Anniversary Gala Dinner of Sarawak State-owned Petros at the Borneo Convention Center Kuching (BCCK) in Kuching, Sarawak. The Gala Dinner welcomed YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak, as the Guest of Honour, whereby YB Dato Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib, Deputy Minister of Economy of Malaysia as well as relevant Sarawak state ministers were also present.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated the Sarawak Government and expressed the Embassy’s readiness to continue to support Thai business and investments especially in the Oil and Gas industry in Sarawak, promoting the overall Thailand-Malaysia trade and investment activities.
