On 10 May 2023, Miss Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia called on H.E. Charles C. Jose, Ambassador of the Philippines to Malaysia, on the sideline of Malaysian Armed Forces Eid Al-Fitr Celebration 2023 at Dewan Perkasa, Wisma Perwira ATM, Kuala Lumpur.

H.E. Charles congratulated and welcomed H.E. Lada on her assumption of duty as Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia. The two ambassadors exchanged information and views on Thai-Philippines, Thailand-Malaysia, Philippines-Malaysia relations, as well as issues of common interest such as developments in Malaysia, cooperation in the ASEAN framework, the role of the US and China in the region.
