On 1 November 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, called on Dato’ Yubazlan bin Haji Yusof, Chief of Protocol, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia in Putrajaya.

 

Ambassador congratulated the Chief of Protocol on his assumption of duty in October 2024, and expressed the Royal Thai Embassy’s readiness to work closely with the Protocol Department, especially on the high-level exchanges of visits between Thailand and Malaysia, including during Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025. Both sides also exchanged information on the development of Thailand - Malaysia bilateral relations, whereby the Chief of Protocol commended the Ambassador’s active role in advancing the close ties between the two countries.

 

The meeting was lively and cordial. Both sides are committed to continue to support each other’s endeavours in further strengthening Thailand - Malaysia cooperation.
