On 5 September 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, officiated the “Amazing Thailand Roadshow to Malaysia 2024” at InterContental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The Event was organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand (Kuala Lumpur Office) and Phuket Tourism Association as a business networking platform for Thai and Malaysian tourism industry players, including tour operators, hotels, golf clubs of over 125 participants.

 

The Ambassador welcomed the distinguished travel partners and participants from Thailand, represented by Phuket Tourism Association, and Malaysia. She reiterated the Royal Thai Government’s policy to promote Thailand-Malaysia’s two-way tourism as well as seamless regional tourism in ASEAN; namely, the “Six Countries, One Destination” campaign being proposed by Thailand. She also highlighted the Government’s continuous efforts to further enhance Thailand’s halal industry ecosystem, including the tourism sector, as Thailand strives to become “ASEAN Halal Hub by 2027” and is committed to becoming “Quality Leisure Destination” for all global travellers.
