On 29 April 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia presided over the Thai SELECT award ceremony, organised by Office of Commercial Affairs, Department of International Trade and Promotion (DITP Malaysia), Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, in collaboration with the Embassy at the Rajaphruek - Bunga Raya Room, Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

 

Ambassador Lada congratulated the 15 Thai restaurants in Malaysia, which received the Thai SELECT certificates by Department of International Trade and Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce of Thailand. There were 10 Thai SELECT restaurants, which received the certificates for the first time, including 1. Malai Thai Cuisine 2. Veg Fish Farm Thai Restaurant 3. Thai Eats Street Food 4. Ali Tomyam Thai Restaurant 5. Wild Thai Mookata 6. Mama Lek 7. Thai In Mookata (Subang) 8. Thai In Mookata (Rawang) 9. Thai In Mookata (Cheras) and (10. Thai Yeah Koh; and 5 Thai SELECT restaurants, which had their certificates renewed, including 1. Pandan Thai Delight 2.Celadon Royal Thai Cuisine 3. Thai Thai 4. Amarin Heavenly Thai 5. Busaba Heavenly Thai. She also thanked the Thai SELECT restaurants for joining hands with the Royal Thai Government in promoting authentic Thai taste, quality Thai products, and excellent Thai hospitality in Malaysia. In addition, she encouraged Thai SELECT restaurants to keep high standard of Thai food, which would help to promote Thainess in Malaysia.
