On 2 October 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, received a farewell by Captain Jirapong Apichatwong (RTN.), Naval Attaché, accompanied by Mrs. Kullakan Apichatwong, his spouse, and Flight Sergeant First Class Atharot Intaramanee, Technical and Administrative Staff, Office of the Air Attaché, accompanied by Ms. Parichat Intaramanee, his spouse, upon their completion of duties at the Royal Thai Embassy. The Ambassador expressed her deep gratitude for their active performing duties and efficient coordination during their posts, contributing to the overall work of Team Thailand in Malaysia.
On this occasion, the Ambassador welcomed the arrival of Captain Chaidej Bunnag (RTN.), the new Naval Attaché, accompanied by Ms. Jutirat Shartpinyo, his spouse, and Flight Sergeant First Class Thorn Praksee, the new Technical and Administrative Staff, Office of the Air Attaché, who assumed their duties on 1 October 2026. The Ambassador underscored the importance of Malaysia as one of Thailand’s key neighbouring countries, as well as the importance of close coordination and integrated efforts among Team Thailand agencies in Malaysia, with a view to further advancing Thailand - Malaysia relations and cooperation while safeguarding and promoting the interests of Thailand and the Thai people in a unified manner.
