Ambassador signed condolence book for earthquake in Myanmar

On the morning of 3 April 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, visited the Myanmar Embassy in Malaysia to sign the condolence book for the earthquake in Myanmar that occurred on 28 March 2025. She was welcomed by H.E. U Aung Soe Win, Ambassador-designate of Myanmar to Malaysia.
The Ambassador expressed her condolences to the Myanmar Ambassador-designate, the people of Myanmar, and the families of those affected by the earthquake. She emphasized the Thai government’s determination to supporting Myanmar to overcome the calamity and will work closely with Myanmar in the emergency relief and rebuilding efforts, including supporting ASEAN’s collective humanitarian assistance efforts to assist Myanmar in this critical time.
H.E. U Aung Soe Win thanked the Thai Ambassador and the Thai government for their goodwill and assistance, despite Thailand itself being affected by the earthquake. He also expressed deep appreciation for the gracious kindness of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand, who had donated relief supplies to the affected people of Myanmar.
