On 16 May 2023, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited by National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) to visit Thailand booths, showcasing the research work, invention and innovation by Thai researchers and inventors at the 35th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2024), whereby Dr. Wiparat Deeong, NRCT Director and the NRCT team welcomed at the booths. The ITEX 2024 is organised by Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) and C.I.S. Network.

 

Ambassador Lada commended the good support by the NRCT for bringing in Thai researchers and inventors from 23 agencies, universities and schools all over Thailand to participate in the competition and demonstrate 72 pieces of their research work and invention at the ITEX2024. This initiative provides a good opportunity for the Thai participants to gain exposure and knowledge, enabling technical and technological exchange especially for youths. It is also a chance for the Thai researchers and inventors to further develop their work and gain ideas for commercialisation.

 

The Embassy wishes to encourage those interested to visit and support the Thai researchers and inventors at the ITEX 2024 during 16 - 18 May 2024 at Hall 1 - 4, KLCC.
