On 22 July 2026, Her Excellency Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia was invited to visit the “Thailand Pavillion by NIA” organised by the National Innovation Agency (Public Organisation) (NIA) in the Food & Drink Malaysia (FDM) by SIAL 2026, held during 21 – 23 July 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.

The Ambassador extended her congratulations to the Thai entrepreneurs, which received support from the NIA and the Business Incubation Center of the Prince of Songkla University Science Park (PSUBIC) to showcase their food and beverage innovative products at the event, as well as participate in business matching and built trade networks with buyers, importers, distributors, and business partners from Malaysia and other countries. On this occasion, the Ambassador provided guidance to the Thai entrepreneurs on export preparation and market expansion of Thai products in Malaysia, while highlighting the Royal Thai Embassy’s readiness to work with relevant Thai agencies to continuously promote and foster business opportunities for innovative Thai entrepreneurs in the Malaysian market.

The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to extend our congratulations to a Thai entrepreneur, Lemon Me Farm (Nakhon Pathom Province), the Winner of Gold SIAL Innovation Award for their lemon peel roll product. Two other Thai entrepreneurs were also selected as Top 10 Finalists for the SIAL Innovation 2026 Award, namely Milk Kin (Pathum Thani Province) for their oat and dietary fiber cookies, and Pak Dee for their healthy noodle product. These achievements reflect the potential of Thai food innovation being recognised internationally.
