On 9 November 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Ms. Marta Laura Gabrieloni, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Malaysia, at the Embassy.

 

The two Ambassadors exchanged information on bilateral relations between Thailand – Argentina, as the two nations will jointly celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations in 2025, and current political and economic developments, as Argentina is Thailand’s third largest trading partner in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as ways to enhance cooperation with the host country, particularly in trade and investment (exporting Halal beef to Malaysia), tourism and people-to-people connectivity.

 

The meeting was cordial, and helped strengthen good relations between the two Ambassadors and embassies. Both sides are committed to forge closer cooperation with the host country, and be at one’s disposal to share thoughts and experiences, while working closely during their tenure in Malaysia.
