On 26 March 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Maher Kheir, Ambassador of Lebanon to Malaysia, on the occasion of his assumption of duty, at the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

Both sides exchanged information and views on bilateral relations between Thailand and Lebanon, as well as on regional and international issues, particularly the situation in the Middle East and the related positions of Thailand, Lebanon, and Malaysia. The two sides also discussed promoting cooperation within the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).

 

The meeting was constructive and helped strengthen good relations between the two Ambassadors and embassies. Both sides also expressed readiness to exchange experiences and to work closely together in a spirit of friendship in the host country, Malaysia.
