On 28 August 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Radamés Jesús Gómez Azuaje, Ambassador-designate of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Malaysia, at the Embassy.
The two Ambassadors exchanged views and information on bilateral relations between Thailand – Venezuela such as development cooperation through scholarships and training programs by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, in the areas that match Venezuela’s interest, including Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy model, food security, and energy security, as well as political and economic development in both countries and their visions to enhance cooperation with the host country, and to strengthen Venezuela’s relations with ASEAN member states.
The meeting was cordial, and helped strengthen good relations between the two Ambassadors and embassies. Both sides are committed to forge closer cooperation with the host country, and be at one’s disposal to share thoughts and experiences, while working closely during their tenure in Malaysia.
