On 8 May 2024, H.E. Lada Phumas, Ambassador, received Admiral Worawut Pruksarungruang, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Navy and delegation, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, on the occasion of Admiral Worawut’s visit to Malaysia during 5 - 9 May 2024, to attend 18th Defence Service Asia 2024 and 3rd National Security Asia 2024, representing the Chief of Royal Thai Navy, at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.

 

The Ambassador and the Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Navy cordially exchanged views and information on the development of the relations between the Royal Thai Navy and the Royal Malaysian Navy, the role of the Royal Thai Navy to strengthen the overall Thailand - Malaysia relations, as well as the mission of the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center (THAI-MECC) in cooperation with Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA). The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and the Royal Thai Navy will also further coordinate actively through the Office of the Naval Attaché in Kuala Lumpur.
