On 12 February 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Raden Mohammad Iman Hascarya Kusumo, Ambassador of Indonesia to Malaysia, on the occasion of his assumption of duty, at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence.

 

Both sides exchanged views on Thailand–Indonesia, Indonesia–Malaysia, and Thailand–Malaysia bilateral relations, in which both Thailand and Indonesia are committed to forging constructive cooperation with the host country in the areas of trade, investment, people-to-people connectivity, and enhancing interactions within the ASEAN framework. The two sides also discussed cooperation under the Indonesia–Malaysia–Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT), and regional and international issues of mutual interest.

 

The meeting was cordial and helped strengthen good relations between the two Ambassadors and embassies. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to sharing experiences and working closely during their tenure in Malaysia.
