On 13 January 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Ms. Chantal Moser, Ambassador-designate of Switzerland to Malaysia, at the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

The two Ambassadors exchanged information and views on bilateral relations between Thailand – Switzerland such as trade and investment and people-to-people relations, and Switzerland – Malaysia and Thailand – Malaysia bilateral relations, in which both Thailand and Switzerland are committed to forge constructive cooperation with the host country in the areas of trade and investment, security, people-to-people connectivity, while supporting Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship this year.

 

The meeting was cordial and helped strengthen good relations between the two Ambassadors and embassies. Both sides are committed to forge closer cooperation with the host country, and be at one’s disposal to share thoughts and experiences, while working closely during their tenure in Malaysia.
