On 28 February 2022, Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Deputy Head of Mission, represented Ambassador Chainarong Keratiyutwong at the Grand Opening of Siam Piwat Group’s first stores in Malaysia at Pavillion Bukit Jalil.

“Through introduction of Thailand’s innovative and eco-friendly products and handicrafts, I believe, would lead to further exchanges, particularly, in the areas of innovation, art and designs, thus leading to deeper understanding of our cultures and societies, as well as sense of empathy and connection between the peoples of our two countries,” said Mrs. Piyapin in her remarks. In addition, the concept of these 3 stores namely ICONCRAFT, ABSOLUTE SIAM and ECOTOPIA, is very much consistent with the Government of Thailand, and the global call for greener, more inclusive and sustainable ways of doing business, and also in line with #APEC theme of OPEN, CONNECT, and BALANCE initiated by Thailand during our Chairmanship this year.
