On 11 April 2022, Miss Kanwana Hemkamon, Counsellor (Head of Consular Section) paid a courtesy call on Mr. Hafidz bin Othman, Deputy Commissioner of Malaysia Prisons Department and Director of the International Affairs and Transfer Division, at Malaysia Prison Headquarters. The meeting discussed a way forward in cooperation between the Malaysia Prisons Department and the Embassy.
