H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, together with Heads of Foreign Missions participated in the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Reception to celebrate the Aidilfitri 1447H, hosted by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong on Saturday 21 March 2026 at Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur. Also in attendance were Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim and spouse, and his cabinet members, Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Johari bin Abdul, President of the Dewan Rakyat and spouse, invited guests from government and private sector, Malaysian media, etc. of more than 600 people, jointly exchanging festive wishes.

 

For this Aidilfitri 1447H, Prime Minister Anwar’s important message called for all Malaysians to remain united and work together towards strengthening ties, uplifting each other, upholding justice and ensuring shared prosperity and security. His Majesty’s statement reminded of the proverb, “United we stand, divided we fall.” HM said the authorities must handle sensitive issues with prudence, considering all relevant aspects, leaving no room for error.

 

The Royal Thai Embassy noted well the spirit of Ramadan and Aidilfitri, and once again, would like to extend well wishes to all Muslim and Malaysian friends, with strong determination to further enhance sustainable ties between the two countries and peoples.
