On 10 February 2022, Mr. Wirat Phothiphan, President of C.P. Malaysia (Aquaculture Business Group) led the delegation to pay a courtesy call on Ambassador Chainarong Keeratiyutwong at the Embassy. The Embassy’s Deputy Head of Mission, Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, and staff from the economic section were also present.
The C.P. Malaysia consists of Agro Industry & Foods Business Group and Aquaculture Business Group. It was incorporated in 1974 primarily in the Poultry Integration Industry. The Aquaculture Business Group was founded later about 29-30 years ago.
The Aquaculture Business Group produces aquatic feed, aquatic breeding, aquatic foods and aquatic probiotic across the country. It has aquatic farms in Johor, Sabah and Sarawak. Currently, it is planning to expand its supply in Malaysia. This is to begin with Lotus’s supermarket under the C.P. Group.
