On 9 February 2022, Mr. Megat Mizan Nicholas Denne, President of Malaysia-Thailand Business Council (MTBC) paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Chainarong Keeratiyutwong at the Embassy. Also present were representatives from Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Office of Commercial Affairs in Kuala Lumpur.

Mr. Megat informed of the upcoming webinar to be organised by MTBC during the month of May 2022, which is aimed at bringing in Thai and Malaysian private sector to explore business opportunities and address pending issues.

MTBC and Thailand-Malaysia Business Council (TMBC) were established in 2013 with support from Thailand and Malaysia governments to promote sustainable economic and industrial growth through Thailand-Malaysia private sector partnerships.
