On 10 - 11 May 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with the Thai Students Association in Malaysia (TSAM), organised the “Training and Routing for12q1 International Career 2025 (TRIC 2025)” at the Embassy and Oakwood Hotel and Residence, Kuala Lumpur. The event was well attended by over 100 Thai students across Malaysia.

On 10 May 2025, the Embassy organised an “Introduction to Digital Literacy” session and a “Digital Literacy & Marketing” Workshop by Abyad Studio from Yarang, Pattani, featuring 3 trainers: (1) Mr. Muhammadaman Sako, (2) Mr. Muddassir Lumae, and (3) Mr. Natthawut Chaitap. The session and Workshop aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of safe and effective usage of digital technology, and develop their skills in digital media, storytelling strategy, and constructive contents, including video production and editing, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and motion graphics, to enable the students to add value to products and services from their communities.

On 11 May 2025, the Embassy hosted a keynote session “Success Mindset: How to Think for Success” presented by Assoc. Prof. Chaiwat Meesanthan, Director of the Institute of East Asian Studies, Thammasat University. The session focused on cultivating the students’ positive attitude, strategic thinking for goal achievement, and inspiring a value entry into the workforce. In the afternoon, the programme continued with an experience-sharing session led by TSAM alumni, followed by an HR Workshop designed to improve students’ understanding of job application processes and career preparation. The session also provided a platform for students to explore their strengths and identify areas for skill development in alignment with future labour market demands.

The TRIC 2025 is in its 4th edition, supported by the Embassy with a view to present opportunities for Thai students in Malaysia to equip themselves with academics, job skills, interpersonal relationships with colleagues, as well as a positive work attitude, prior to their graduation. The Project also aims to ensure the quality of growth for the students who will soon enter professional workforce and become breadwinners of their families, while contributing to their local communities, society, and the country.
