Mr. Veera briefed on how the Company turned the COVID-19 pandemic crisis into opportunity through expansion of its business to foreign markets. Due to the pandemic’s impact on its domestic performance, the Company decided to diversify risks by reaching out to its customers aboard. Malaysia was therefore chosen as its pioneer overseas outlet following a series of studies, market surveys, while taking into account its business prospect. On 21 June 2023, Malaysia’s first Laemcharoen Seafood restaurant will open its door to Malaysian customers at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Looking ahead, the Company plans to expand more outlets in Malaysia by 2024.
