เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ เมษายน ๒๕๕๗ นายกฤต ไกรจิตติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากกรมการแพทย์ จำนวน ๓ คณะ ซึ่งเดินทางเยือนมาเลเซีย ได้แก่ ๑) คณะติดตามและประเมินผลและเจรจาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการด้านการแพทย์ นำโดยนายแพทย์ประพนธ์ ตั้งศรีเกียรติกุล พร้อมด้วยคณะแพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลและสถาบันการแพทย์ชั้นนำในสังกัด อาทิ โรงพยาบาลราชวิถี โรงพยาบาลเลิดสิน สถาบันประสาทวิทยา สถาบันโรคทรวงอก สถาบันทันตกรรม สถาบันสุขภาพเด็กแห่งชาติมหาราชินี และศูนย์สิรินธรเพื่อการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพทางการแพทย์แห่งชาติ ๒) คณะแลกเปลี่ยนและศึกษาดูงานด้านออร์โธปิดิกส์สู่อาเซียน นำโดยนายแพทย์สมศักดิ์ ลีเชวงวงศ์ นายแพทย์ทรงคุณวุฒิจากโรงพยาบาลเลิดสิน และ ๓) คณะเตรียมการโครงการดูแลสุขภาพแรงงานไทยในประเทศอาเซียน ณ มาเลเซีย นำโดยทันตแพทย์สมชัย ชัยศุภมงคลลาภ ที่ปรึกษากรมการแพทย์ ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตได้แสดงความยินดีต่อการส่งเสริมและขยายความร่วมมือด้านการแพทย์ระหว่างไทยกับมาเลเซีย

 

On 22 April 2014, H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed three delegations from the Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, consisting of:

1) Delegation to follow-up on the discussion regarding technical cooperation with Malaysia, led by Mr. Prapon Tangsrikertikul, M.D., Deputy Director-General; 

2) Delegation to exchange expertise on Orthopaedics within ASEAN, led by Mr. Somsak Leechavengvongs, M.D., senior orthopaedist from Lerdsin Hospital; and

3) Delegation to conduct feasibility on the healthcare provision for Thai labourers in Malaysia, led by Mr. Somchai Chaisupamongkolla, senior dentist and adviser to the Department.

On this occasion, H.E. the Ambassador congratulated the delegations upon establishing good cooperation with the Malaysian side in the field of healthcare and medical services, arguably the most important sectors in people's lives.
