เมื่อวันที่ ๑๒ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๗ นางสาวเสาวลักษณ์ ชัยชูสอน อัครราชทูต ในฐานะอุปทูตรักษาการ ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากสำนักงานส่งเสริมการศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัย (กศน.) และศูนย์อำนวยการบริหารจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ (ศอ.บต.) นำโดยนายประยุทธ์ หลักคำ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ กศน. กลุ่มเป้าหมายพิเศษ ซึ่งเดินทางเยือนมาเลเซียเพื่อตรวจเยี่ยมและหารือกับศูนย์การเรียน กศน. จำนวน ๓ แห่งในกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ในโอกาสนี้ อุปทูตฯ ได้หารือกับคณะฯ เกี่ยวแนวทางการส่งเสริมการศึกษาให้แก่คนไทยในมาเลเซียทั้งในด้านภาษาไทย การอาชีพ และหลักสูตรสามัญ รวมถึงการให้การสนับสนุนนักเรียนไทยในมาเลเซียด้วย

 

On 12 June 2014, Miss Saowalak Chaichuson, Minister and Charge d'Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, welcomed a delegation comprising officials from the Office of Non-Formal and Informal Education (ONIE) and Southern Border Provinces Administration Centre (SBPAC), led by Mr. Prayut Lakkum, Director for Special Target Group, who travelled to Malaysia to visit and discuss with directors of ONIE learning centres in Kuala Lumpur. On this occasion, the Charge d'Affaires discussed with the delegation regarding the promotion of non-formal and informal education in Malaysia, especially in the fields of Thai language, vocational training and also basic educational curriculum.
