เมื่อวันที่ ๑๖ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๗ นางสาวเสาวลักษณ์ ชัยชูสอน อัครราชทูต ในฐานะอุปทูตรักษาการ พร้อมด้วยคณะข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต และคณะกรรมการบริหารทีมประเทศไทย ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ รวมถึงผู้แทนภาคเอกชนไทยที่เข้ามาประกอบธุรกิจในมาเลเซีย ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะกรรมการเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (AEC Prompt) นำโดยนายพรศิลป์ พัชรินทร์ตนะกุล รองประธานกรรมการหอการค้าไทยและสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย ซึ่งเดินทางเยือนมาเลเซียเพื่อศึกษาลู่ทางการค้าและการลงทุน รวมถึงศึกษาระเบียบด้านเศรษฐกิจที่เกี่ยวข้อง ในโอกาสนี้ แต่ละฝ่ายได้หารือกันเกี่ยวกับจุดเด่นและปัญหาอุปสรรคต่าง ๆ ในการเข้ามาลงทุนในมาเลเซีย ขณะที่ผู้แทนภาคเอกชนไทยในมาเลเซียก็ได้ให้ข้อชี้แนะต่าง ๆ เกี่ยวกับตลาดมาเลเซียและเทคนิคการดำเนินธุรกิจในมาเลเซียด้วย

 

On 16 June 2014, Ms. Saowalak Chaichuson, MInister and Charge d'Affaires, a.i., together with officers of the Royal Thai Embassy, representatives of Team Thailand agencies and leading Thai private sector companies in Malaysia welcomed a delegation from the AEC Prompt Committee of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Thai Board of Trade, led by Mr. Pornsin Pacharintanakul, Vice President of the Thailand Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade, who travelled to Malaysia to study about means of doing business as well as rules and regulations in Malaysia. On this occasion, the Embassy officers and representatives of the Thai private sector in Malaysia provided their insights about the conditions of the Malaysian market as well as obstacles related to the conduct of businesses in Malaysia.
