เมื่อวันที่ ๑๑ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๗ นายกฤต ไกรจิตติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ พร้อมด้วยภริยาและคณะข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาสในพิธีสวดเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ กัณฑ์ธัมมจักกัปปวัตตนสูตร และร่วมพิธีเวียนเทียนรอบพระอุโบสถวัดพุทธไทยเชตวันเนื่องในวันอาสาฬหบูชา โดยมีทั้งชาวมาเลเซียพุทธและชาวไทยกว่าร้อยคนเข้าร่วมพิธีกันอย่างพร้อมเพรียง

 

On 11 July 2014, H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, and Miss Saowalak Chaichuson, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, participated in the Grand Chanting "Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta" as well as the candle procession, together with over 100 Malaysian and Thai Buddhists at Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple, Petaling Jaya, on the occasion of Asalha Puja Day. Asalha Puja, also known as Dhamma Day, commemorates the first sermon of Buddha after his Enlightenment, the establishment of the first order of Buddhist monks and the completion of the Triple Gems of Theravada Buddhism.
