เมื่อวันที่ ๒๓ มีนาคม ๒๕๕๘ นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากสถาบันการทูต มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต นำโดยนายจิระโรจน์ มะหมัดกุล รองคณบดี ซึ่งนำคณะนักศึกษาเดินทางเยือนมาเลเซียเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนกับนักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยอิสลามนานาชาติมาเลเซีย และได้หารือกับคณะฯ เกี่ยวกับจุดแข็งของระบบการศึกษามาเลเซียในสาขาต่าง ๆ และแนวทางในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษากับมาเลเซีย นอกจากนี้ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้บรรยายสรุปแก่คณะนักศึกษาเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตในการเป็นผู้แทนประเทศไทยและในการดำเนินความสัมพันธ์กับมาเลเซียและประเทศต่าง ๆ

 

On 23 March 2015, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed a delegation from Rangsit University's Institute of Diplomacy, led by its Deputy Dean Mr. Jiraroj Mamadkul. The Ambassador discussed with the representatives about the strengths of the Malaysian education system and ways in which Thailand should take to engage in deep cooperation with Malaysia in the field of education. Additionally, on this occasion, the students who joined to delegation to take part in networking programme with Malaysian students from International Islamic University Malaysia were also provided with a briefing on the roles of the Embassy in the promotion of close and cordial relations between Thailand and Malaysia as well as other countries.
