เมื่อวันที่ ๒๗-๒๙ มีนาคม ๒๕๕๘ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้จัดกิจกรรมกงสุลสัญจร โดยให้บริการรับคำร้องทำหนังสือเดินทาง สูติบัตรไทย และนิติกรณ์ จำนวน ๑๓๕ ราย ที่วัดพุทธชยันตี เมืองยะโฮร์บาห์รู รัฐยะโฮร์ และวัดพระพุทธชินราช วัดมะละกา อีกทั้งยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมให้กำลังใจและมอบเงินช่วยเหลือแก่ผู้ถูกกักกันชาวไทยที่สถานกักกันเปอกันนานัสจำนวน ๑๗ คน ทั้งนี้ นอกเหนือจากการให้บริการด้านกงสุลแล้ว สำนักงานแรงงานประจำกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ยังได้จัดคณะแพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลโรคทรวงอกเดินทางมาตรวจสุขภาพให้แก่คนไทยในพื้นที่อีกด้วย

 

On 27-29 March 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, organized the "Roving Consulate". The main component of this programme is to provide consular services such as passport application, legalization of documents and registration for Thai birth certificates as well as the provision of advice to over 130 Thai nationals at Wat Buddha Jayanti, Johor, and Wat Phra Buddha Chinnarat, Melaka. Apart from the provision of consular services, the Embassy's officials and staff also visited Pekan Nanas Immigration Depot, to give encouragement and a small token of allowance to the 17 Thai detainees. Besides, the Office of Labour Affairs also invited medical practitioners from Thailand to provide basic medical screenings for the Thai nationals living in these two states.
