เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ กันยายน ๒๕๕๘ นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เป็นผู้กล่าวปาฐกถานำในงานสัมมนาความร่วมมือผู้ผลิตอะไหล่ยนต์ไทย-มาเลเซีย "The Synergy of Malaysia and Thai Auto-Parts Makers to Drive beyond ASEAN Border" ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่สำนักงานสภาอุตสาหกรรมมาเลเซีย เพื่อเปิดตัวงานแสดงสินค้าโลหกรรม "เมทัลเลกซ์ ๒๐๑๕" ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นที่กรุงเทพฯ ในวันที่ ๑๘-๒๑ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๕๘ โดยได้รับการต้อนรับจากนายจอห์น ลี กรรมการบริหารสภาอุตสาหกรรมมาเลเซีย และผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า ๑๐๐ คน

 

On 22 September 2015, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikrun, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, delivered a keynote address in the seminar "The Synergy of Malaysia and Thai Auto-Parts Makers to Drive beyond ASEAN Border," organized to promote Metalex 2015 Exhibition in Bangkok on 18-21 November 2015 at the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers. H.E. the Ambassador was warmly welcomed by Mr. John Lee, FMM Council Member, and some 100 participants at the event, and his speech focused on how Thailand and Malaysia could exploit various opportunities available in order to strengthen overall relations between their peoples.
