เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ ตุลาคม ๒๕๕๘ นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากคณะกรรมการกลางอิสลามแห่งประเทศไทย นำโดย รศ. อิสมาแอ อาลี ประธานฝ่ายฮาลาล ซึ่งเดินทางศึกษางานเกี่ยวกับการควบคุมโรงเชือดฮาลาลที่มาเลเซีย ที่ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยได้มีโอกาสแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นกับคณะเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมอุตสากรรมฮาลาลในประเทศไทยเพื่อขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจโดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ และความร่วมมือกับมาเลเซียเพื่อเจาะตลาดสินค้าฮาลาลในประเทศที่สาม

 

On 26 October 2015, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed a delegation from the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, led by Associate Prof. Dr. Ismaae Alee, the Committee's Halal Chairman, at his official residence. H.E. the Ambassador had an opportunity to exchange views with the delegation regarding the development of Halal industry in Thailand, especially in the Southern region, and the cooperation in Halal with Malaysia, in order to enhance the marketing of Thai Halal products in third countries.
