เมื่อวันที่ 11 มีนาคม 2559 นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้ให้การต้อนรับพลเอกฉัตรชัย สาริกัลยะ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ในโอกาสเยือนมาเลเซียเพื่อเข้าร่วมการประชุมในกรอบองค์กรอาหารและเกษตรแห่งสหประชาชาติ ภาคพื้นเอเชียและแปซิฟิกที่เมืองราชการปุตราจายา ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้นำรัฐมนตรีฯ เข้าพบหารือกับผู้บริหารและเยี่ยมชมโรงงานและศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาของบริษัทท็อปโกลฟเพื่อศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์จากยางพาราเพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าให้แก่ยางพาราไทย รวมถึงได้เข้าพบหารือกับดาโต๊ะซรีอาหมัด ชาบรี ชีค รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมการเกษตรมาเลเซีย เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตร ปศุสัตว์ และประมง ระหว่างไทยกับมาเลเซีย

 

On 11 March 2016, HE Mr Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed HE Gen. Chatchai Sarikulya, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, who visited Malaysia to participate in a regional Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations meeting in Putrajaya. On this occasion, HE the Ambassador led HE the Minister to visiting the research and development centre of Top Glove Corporation to study about natural rubber product development and to a bilateral meeting with YB Dato' Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry of Malaysia to explore possible cooperation in agriculture, farming and fishery.
