เมื่อวันที่ 15 มีนาคม 2559 นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงาน "Thailand Connect" ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการ (สสปน.) โดยความร่วมมือกับการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย การบินไทย และสายการบินบางกอกแอร์เวย์ส เพื่อเชิญชวนภาคธุรกิจมาเลเซียเข้าไปจัดการประชุมและการท่องเที่ยวเชิงรางวัลที่ประเทศไทย โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ย้ำถึงโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและสาธารณูปโภคที่ทันสมัยของประเทศไทย รวมถึงจิตไมตรีของคนไทยในการต้อนรับชาวต่างชาติซึ่งจะทำให้ภาคธุรกิจมาเลเซียประทับใจอย่างแน่นอน

 

On 15 March 2016, HE Mr Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, delivered a keynote address during the dinner at "Thailand Connect", an event organized by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Airways International and Bangkok Airways, to attract Malaysian businesses to organize meetings and incentive travels in Thailand. During the address, HE the Ambassador stressed about the modern infrastucture and facilities in Thailand as well as the service mind of the Thai people, which is guaranteed to impress all visitors to the country.
