เมื่อวันที่ 26 เมษายน 2559 นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้พบหารือกับนายประธาน จองปั่น ประธานกลุ่มบริษัทในเครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์ (มาเลเซีย) ซึ่งนำคณะผู้บริหารบริษัทเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในโอกาสเทศกาลสงกรานต์ ในการนี้ ทั้งสองได้หารือกันเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตรระหว่างไทยกับมาเลเซีย และลู่ทางและอุปสรรคในการขยายฐานการลงทุนของภาคเอกชนไทยในมาเลเซีย

 

On 26 April 2016, HE Mr Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, received a courtesy call from Mr Pratan Jongpun, President, and senior executives of PK Agro-Industrial Products (M) Sdn Bhd on the occasion of Songkran Festival. On this occasion, the two had an opportunity to exchange views on the cooperation between Thailand and Malaysia in agriculture and livestock as well as the opportunities and obstacles relating to investment in Malaysia by Thai companies.
