Thai business delegation visited Malaysia during 13 - 17 November 2018

Thai business delegation led by Mr. Chokedee Kaewsang, Deputy Secretary General of Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) visited Malaysia during 13 - 17 November 2018 with a view to explore investment opportunities in Malaysia for Thai businesses. The delegation comprises various business such as hotel and restaurant, beauty products and health supplements, lighting products and accessories, landscape architectural design, textile, logistics and transport, energy, processed fruits and vegetables.

On 15 November 2018, the delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia. They were briefed on investment opportunities in Malaysia by Ms. Patcha Wutipan, Minister Counselor (Commercial) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. The delegation also visited Penang Port, Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone as well as met with Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), Malaysia International Chamber of Commerce (MICC) and Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM). A working dinner was also arranged for them to meet with representatives from Thai companies investing in Malaysia, who shared their experience and insights on doing business in Malaysia.

คณะนักลงทุนไทยเยือนมาเลเซียระหว่างวันที่ 13 – 17 พฤศจิกายน 2561

สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) ร่วมกับสถาบันระหว่างประเทศเพื่อการค้าและการพัฒนา (องค์การมหาชน) นำคณะนักธุรกิจไทยจาก ๑๐ บริษัท ที่เข้าร่วมโครงการพัฒนานักลงทุนไทย ประจำปี 2561 เยือนมาเลเซียระหว่างวันที่ 13 – 17 พฤศจิกายน 2561 ประกอบด้วยนักธุรกิจจากหลากหลายสาขาธุรกิจ เช่น การโรงแรม โลจิสติกส์ ความงามและสุขภาพ การออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรม สิ่งทอ อุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้า พลังงาน และผลิตภัณฑ์แปรรูปจากผักผลไม้

เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2561 นายโชคดี แก้วแสง รองเลขาธิการคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน ได้นำคณะเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนายณรงค์ ศศิธร เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ โดยมี น.ส. พัดชา วุฒิพันธ์ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา (ฝ่ายการพาณิชย์) ร่วมบรรยายสรุปข้อมูลเศรษฐกิจและโอกาสการลงทุนของไทยในมาเลเซีย นอกจากนั้น คณะได้เยี่ยมชมท่าเรือปีนัง และเขตอุตสาหกรรมบายันเลปาส และพบกับหน่วยงานส่งเสริมการลงทุนมาเลเซีย (Malaysian Investment Development Authority หรือ MIDA) หน่วยงานขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาเขตเศรษฐกิจภาคตะวันออก (East Coast Economic Region Development Council หรือ ECERDC) หอการค้าระหว่างประเทศมาเลเซีย (Malaysia International Chamber of Commerce หรือ MICC) และสมาพันธ์ผู้ผลิตมาเลเซีย (Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers หรือ FMM) รวมทั้งได้มีโอกาสพบปะกับนักธุรกิจไทยที่ลงทุนในมาเลเซียซึ่งได้แบ่งปันความรู้และประสบการณ์การดำเนินธุรกิจในมาเลเซียให้แก่คณะดังกล่าว
