เมื่อวันที่ ๓ ตุลาคม ๒๕๕๗ นางสาวเสาวลักษณ์ ชัยชูสอน อุปทูตฯ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เป็นประธานในพิธีมอบเช็คเงินสนับสนุนแก่ไทยคลับ หรือชมรมคนไทยในมาเลเซีย เพื่อเป็นเงินสนับสนุนกิจกรรมในด้านการช่วยเหลือคนไทยในมาเลเซียที่ตกทุกข์ รวมถึงการจัดกิจกรรมในด้านการให้คำปรึกษาและสนับสนุนการประกอบวิชาชีพให้แก่ชาวไทยที่มาอาศัยในมาเลเซีย โดยมีสัตวแพทย์หญิงสมหมาย รัตนพิทักษ์ ชิน นายกไทยคลับ พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการไทยคลับ เป็นผู้แทนเข้ารับมอบเช็คเงินสนับสนุน โดยในโอกาสนี้ อุปทูตฯ ยังได้แสดงความขอบคุณและชื่นชมไทยคลับที่ได้เป็นกำลังสนับสนุนกิจกรรมของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตในด้านการให้ความช่วยเหลือและคุ้มครองผลประโยชน์ของคนไทยในต่างประเทศอีกด้วย

 

On 3 October 2014, Ms. Saowalak Chaichuson, Chargés d'Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, presented a cheque on behalf of the Embassy to Thai Club Kuala Lumpur to support the latter's activities in providing assistance to Thai nationals in distress in Malaysia and organizing activities to promote wellbeing of Thai people in Malaysia. The monetary supported was received by members of Thai Club, led by Dr. Sommai Chin, its President. On this occasion, the Chargés d'Affaires a.i. also expressed her appreciation to Thai Club for its role in supporting the Embassy to enhance the welfare and wellbeing of the Thai people in Malaysia.
