H.E. Narong Sasitorn and Mrs. Chantana Sasitorn attended the 7th Asean International Chopin Piano Competition at Sunway University in Selangor on 23 December 2018 to show support to young Thai talented pianists performed at the event, namely, LUANPITPONG Thannapas, SIRILERDSACKSAKUL Ratchawin, SOONNANON Patcharada, VEJMOLGKOLKORN Papitcha, CHANPONG Arisa, ATIPHOPHAI ChaitHawat, and CHANPONG Tarisa. 

The concert was a collaboration between Sunway University and the Chopin Society of Malaysia. At this event, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali and Tunku Zain Al-'Abidin Tuanku Muhriz also showed off their musical chops in a duet performance. Also presented at the event were Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, Tunku Ampuan Besar Negri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani binti Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud and Tunku Besar Seri Menanti Tunku Ali Redhauddin.
