The Ambassador congratulated Dusit International and Gamuda Land on the launch of ASAI Gamuda Cove, the first Thai hotel brand “ASAI” in Malaysia, which underscores Thai businesses in expanding their operations and investment in the Malaysian market, while reflecting the Royal Thai Government’s “Results-Driven Economic Diplomacy” with a focus on (1) building #Confidence of Thai businesses in Malaysia through their capital, high standards, and long-term commitment; (2) enhancing #Competitiveness by introducing Thailand’s hospitality expertise, alongside international recognised Thai brands, in the Malaysian and global markets; and (3) promoting #Collaboration by encouraging Thai and Malaysian businesses to work together to explore new avenues for trade and investment, particularly in the tourism sector.

On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed confidence that the partnership between Dusit Thani Group and Gamuda Berhad would greatly contribute to Thailand - Malaysia bilateral trade, investment and tourism activities, while reaffirming the Royal Thai Embassy’s commitment to supporting Thai businesses in Malaysia and continuously advancing economic cooperation between the two countries.

The development of ASAI Gamuda Cove began in 2023, when the Ambassador attended, as the Guest of Honour, both the groundbreaking ceremony and the signing of the Hotel Management Agreement between Dusit International and Gamuda Land on 30 November 2023 (#Link: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19gZEte2yE/).
