On 6 August 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia was invited to the dinner reception, co-hosted by Sanya Dharmmasakti National Anti-Corruption Institute and Malaysia Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA), at Meliá Kuala Lumpur Hotel. The event was a part of the study visit to ASEAN countries under the Anti-Corruption Strategic Management for Senior Executives (ACSMSE) Program, 16th class, led by Mr. Pattarasak Wannasang, Commissioner of Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), during 5 - 8 August 2025 in Kuala Lumpur.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador met with Dato' Mohd Hafaz bin Nazar, Senior Director of MACA, along with the NACC executives and participants of the ACSMSE Program, and commended the close and continuous cooperation between the NACC and MACA in exchanging knowledge, experiences, and best practices to strengthen the capacity and professionalism of public officials in promoting integrity and transparency. The Ambassador also reaffirmed the Embassy’s readiness to support efforts to promote cooperation in the prevention and suppression of corruption between Thailand and partner countries. The delegation expressed interest in further exchanging knowledge and information on Thailand - Malaysia relations in a cordial manner, and appreciated the warm hospitality extended by the Embassy.
