Today (26 January 2022) H.E. Mr. Chainarong Keratiyutwong, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, on behalf of the Government of Thailand, handed over a donation of USD 50,000 to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) for flood relief in Malaysia, in the presence of Her Highness Tan Sri Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Binti Almarhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, National Chairperson of MRCS. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Chainarong underlined the importance of the cordial relationship between Thailand and Malaysia, and Thailand’s readiness to assist our neighbor in their time of need. Both sides believe that this initiative would pave the way for increasing cooperation between the two countries in the near future.
