On 3 October 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Sándor Sipos, Ambassador-designate of Hungary to Malaysia, on the occasion of his upcoming assumption of duty, at the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

Both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between Thailand - Hungary such as trade and investment and people-to-people relations, and Hungary - Malaysia and Thailand - Malaysia bilateral relations, in which both Hungary and Thailand are committed to forge constructive cooperation with the host country in the areas of trade and investment, security, and people-to-people connectivity.

 

The meeting was cordial and helped strengthen good relations between the two Ambassadors and embassies. Both sides are committed to forge closer cooperation with the host country, and be at one’s disposal to share thoughts and experiences, while working closely during their tenure in Malaysia.
