On 26 February 2026, Her Excellency Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited to attend Top Glove Corporation Berhad’s Lunar New Year Celebration at the Courtyard by Mariott in Setia Alam, Selangor, and warmly received by Tan Sri Dr. Lim Wee Chai, Executive Chairman of Top Glove. The event was also attended by over 500 invited guests from diplomatic corps in Malaysia, Malaysian government agencies and private sector, trade and industry associations in Malaysia, as well as YB Senator Tan Sri Dato' Low Kian Chuan, Malaysian Senator and Chairman of Malaysia - China Business Council, and YB Tuan Haji Azli bin Yusof, Member of Parliament for Shah Alam, Selangor.

 

The Ambassador met with senior executives of Top Glove and congratulated the company on its successful business performance in 2025 while discussing ways to promote the company’s trade and investment in Thailand, particularly the expansion of glove and latex concentrate factories in 5 Southern Border Provinces (SBPs), to drive forward economic growth, create jobs and strengthen Thailand - Malaysia natural rubber supply chain.
