On 2 October 2024, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, received a farewell by Col. Nikom Tongkinkaew, outgoing Defence and Army Attaché and spouse, and officials from the offices of Army and Navy Attaché, upon their completion of duties at the Royal Thai Embassy. Ambassador Lada expressed her deep gratitude for their active performing duties and efficient coordination during their posts, contributing to the overall work of Team Thailand. She also emphasized a strategic significance of Malaysia as a neighbouring country of Thailand with shared border, an importance task of the Embassy to strengthening Thailand-Malaysia relations, as well as to protect Thailand’s national interest.

 

Meanwhile, the Ambassador welcomed the arrival of Col. Artit Pikulthong, current Defence and Army Attaché and spouse, and relevant officials, in taking new charge of their respective responsibilities, who are committed to continue their work closely together with Team Thailand and further contributing to a stronger Team Thailand under “One Roof” policy in Malaysia.
