On 2 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited to visit the PTTEP Malaysia Asset’s booth at the Oil and Gas Asia (OGA) 2025 held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), in support for Thai businesses in Malaysia. The Ambassador was warmly welcomed by Mr. Padsakorn Suwanruji, PTTEP Malaysia Asset’s Country Manager, along with company’s executives and staffs.

 

The Ambassador visited the company’s exhibition booth and was briefed on the company’s business operation and petroleum exploration and production activities across 12 countries worldwide, with Malaysia being one of the key operational hubs; the development of new technologies such as the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS); and social responsibility programmes under the “Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G)” or “ESG” model, including the Hydro Sprout initiative, which supports hydroponic vegetable farming in Bintulu, Sarawak - one of the company’s project site, as well as scholarship programme for students in Sarawak, among others.

 

The OGA 2025 marks its 21st edition and is being held during 2 - 4 September 2025 under the theme “Powering Progress, Shaping Tomorrow” to serve as a platform for industry players and policy makers in the oil and gas industry to discuss, network and engage in business matching activities whereby the PTTEP Malaysia Asset has continuously participated in the exhibition.
